 To Whom it Concerns, I would like to recommend Mike Kilgore and NoctunralGolf.com to host a unique golf tournament at your course. I have been appointed Law Enforcement Tampa Police Department Torch Run Coordinator to raise money to benefit the Special Olympics Florida. Last year we held a traditional glow in the dark golf tournament. We placed over 1,000 glow sticks around the greens, sand traps and tee boxes. One of the obstacles we had to overcome was the effectiveness of the glow sticks. Many of the glow sticks no longer glowed by the end of the night. Many golfers became confused because they were not able to see many of the hazards that were originally lit. Mike Kilgore heard we were hosting glow-in-the-dark golf tournaments and asked if he could have the opportunity to host the event. We had our reservations due to the added expense but he assured us this would be an event every golfer will enjoy. After learning more about his products and what he had to offer, we decided to go with his company. We compared it to going from a "Star Trek effect to a "Star Wars event. Mike listened to all of our goals and objectives and formulated a plan to help us reach those goals. He created a website for our players to register which is something we did not have previously. The website enhanced the professionalism we were trying to achieve. I was very impressed with his communication and ability to project my ideas onto his website. His custom created flyers and tickets were beyond anyone's expectations. The night of the tournament came and Mike was there 4 hours before the event with registration complete and in hand. He had placed each player on holes with starting times and what merchandise they were to receive. One of our volunteers commented to me, "This is unbelievable how much easier this year's registration was compared to last year. He made sure that we had the tools to receive information on individual golfers, I did not have previously. This was important to us because we wanted to create a database in order to reach out to the players for our event next year. After the players were on the course, Mike assembled a team of volunteers and trained them on how to set up the course with over 1,300 lights. He had already preset holes with the lighting and made sure there was a map in each box to show each person where every light went. As soon as the players came in after their first nine holes for dinner, Mike went into action. Within 45 minute 18 holes on a par-72 course were ready. We had time to serve dinner and host a $10,000 hole in one putting competition in which Mike coordinated the insurance. After working with Mike over a 3-month period of time, my confidence was built on how well the course was going to look. I must say he had met my expectations and then some. Every green, sand trap and fairway was lit as promised. You could look out and see blinking golf balls flying in the air. IT WAS GREAT!!! After the event Mike stayed to make sure that all ends were tied down before he left. I want to express my appreciation for Mike Kilgore and NocturnalGolf.com. We have signed a 5 year contract with River Hills Country Club to host the Annual Stars & Pars Night Golf Classic. You can be assured we are planning on using Mike and NocturnalGolf.com again.
